The wet season, also called rainy season, is a term
commonly used when describing the
weather in the tropics.
The year is split into the dry
season and the wet season . As the name implies, nearly all the
rainfall in a year occurs during the
wet season. Typically, days start off hot and sunny, with humidity
building during the day and culminating in large thunderstorms and
torrential rain in the afternoon or evening. This promotes
plant
growth.
