	Of a living being incapable of reproducing ( unfertile , infertile ), not producing or incapable of producing offspring.

Male sterility: inability of the male part of a plant to fertilize the ovule of another plant as a result of failure to produce living pollen. (also called "pollen-sterile" plants)

Unfruitful: unable to produce plants as a sterile desert.
